Vero3's leadership team unites decades of operational, technical, and financial expertise to lead the decarbonized power transition.


Tim is the Founder of Vero3 with more than 30 years' experience as an international natural resources professional, specializing in exploration, development and operations.
A qualified Geologist, Tim has held a number of senior positions including Chief Geologist at Xstrata and Executive Director of Larkham Resources, where he co-founded a start-up with Barclays for investment in Metallurgical Coal Projects.
From 2014, Tim held the position of Chief Executive Officer at several Australian ASX-listed resource companies before founding Vero3 in 2021.
Tim graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Geology) and holds an MBA in Innovation, and certificate in Global Oil and Gas Management from the University of Arizona.

Brian joined Vero3 in 2025 as Chief Executive Officer.
A qualified Geologist, prior to joining Vero3 Brian was Managing Director of Delo Consulting LLC and held the position of Exploration Manager of Stonewater Minerals LLC. In 2016 he joined Schuepbach Energy Exploration LLC as an Exploration Geologist and was promoted to Chief Geologist after four years in the position.
Brian attended the University of Minnesota and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Majoring in Geology) and holds a Masters of Science in Geology from Rice University, a comprehensive research university in Houston, Texas.
Brian resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife and young son.

Justin is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in structuring, negotiating, and executing complex financial transactions, including royalty and streaming agreements exceeding US$2 billion across 50+ projects globally.
With expertise in leveraging capital markets to drive innovation and growth in rapidly evolving sectors such as sustainability, energy transition and clean technology, Justin has founded and headed up a number of carbon and mining investment companies, including Carbon Streaming Corporation, Nickel 28 Capital Corp and Cobalt 27 Capital Corp.
Previously, Justin held senior leadership roles at Sandstorm Gold and Duke Capital Limited, where he is currently an Investment Committee Member.
Justin holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from the University of British Columbia and is a CFA Institute Charterholder. Justin resides in Toronto, Canada.

Scott joined Vero3 in 2024 after a long and illustrious career with Peabody, America's largest coal producer.
During his 28 years with Peabody, Scott worked in a number of different roles including Mine Engineer, Engineering and Environmental Manager, Manager of Operations Support, Operations Manager at Caballo and Rawhide mines, and Senior Vice President of the Wyoming Operations. Prior to joining Peabody, Scott held several positions in engineering with Golden Reward Mining Company and Kiewit Mining Group.
Scott is a graduate of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering and a Masters of Science in Technical Management.
He currently serves on the Gillette College Advisory Board and the Industrial Advisory Board for the Mining Engineering and Management Program at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.

Peter is an experienced C-suite leader with extensive expertise in finance, governance, compliance, and corporate leadership.
In addition to being a qualified Chartered Accountant (AUS|NZ), Peter is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

Simon is a qualified engineer and talented valuation modeller with 15 years in the global energy and mining industry.
With expertise in civil engineering and construction, specializing in project management and delivery in remote and challenging environments, Simon has overseen projects in regional Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania as well as the small African nation of Madagascar.
Simon commenced his professional career at John Holland and has worked for a number of reputable Australian mining companies including MCG Group, Larkham Resources, Red Mulga Indigenous Services and Bass Metals (later Greenwing Resources).
Simon graduated from Central Queensland University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance (Financial Analysis) from Kaplan Professional.
